Most pianos are tuned once or twice a year. In some cases, such as concert venues, the piano may be tuned once or twice before each performance. If it has been a few years since the piano was last tuned, plan to arrange for a longer first appointment to allow for multiple tuning passes. A stable tuning requires a stable humidity.
